Infotype Record (PA30): To create a new infotype record for an employee, follow
these steps:
a. Open transaction code PA30 (Maintain HR Master Data) in
the SAP GUI.
b. Enter the employee's personnel number for whom you want
to create the infotype record.
c. Select the infotype you want to create from the drop-down
list of infotypes.
d. Click on the "Create" button (or press F5) to
create a new infotype record.
e. Fill in the required data for the selected infotype, such
as name, address, job information, etc.
f. Once you have entered the data, save the record by
clicking on the "Save" button (or press Ctrl + S).
2. Change
Infotype Record (PA30): To modify an existing infotype record for an employee,
perform the following steps:
a. Open transaction code PA30.
b. Enter the personnel number of the employee whose infotype
record you want to change.
c. Select the infotype from the drop-down list.
d. Click on the "Change" button (or press F6) to
access the infotype data for editing.
e. Make the necessary changes to the data in the infotype
record.
f. Save the changes by clicking on the "Save"
button (or press Ctrl + S).
3. Copy
Infotype Record (PA30): To copy an existing infotype record to create a new
record for the same or a different employee, follow these steps:
a. Open transaction code PA30.
b. Enter the personnel number of the employee whose infotype
record you want to copy.
c. Select the infotype from the drop-down list.
d. Click on the "Copy" button (or press F7) to
initiate the copy operation.
e. Enter the personnel number of the new employee (if you
want to copy the record to a different employee).
f. Make any necessary changes to the copied data.
g. Save the new infotype record by clicking on the
"Save" button (or press Ctrl + S).
4. Delete
Infotype Record (PA30): To remove an existing infotype record for an employee,
proceed as follows:
a. Open transaction code PA30.
b. Enter the personnel number of the employee whose infotype
record you want to delete.
c. Select the infotype from the drop-down list.
d. Click on the "Delete" button (or press F8) to
delete the infotype record.
e. Confirm the deletion by clicking "Yes" on the
confirmation pop-up.
f. Save the changes by clicking on the "Save"
button (or press Ctrl + S).
5. Overview
of Infotype Records (PA20): To view an overview of all infotype records for an
employee, use transaction code PA20:
a. Open transaction code PA20 (Display HR Master Data) in
the SAP GUI.
b. Enter the personnel number of the employee whose infotype
records you want to view.
c. A list of infotypes and their corresponding records for
the selected employee will be displayed.
d. You can navigate through different infotypes by selecting
them from the list.
e. To view the detailed information of an infotype record,
double-click on the respective infotype.
f. Close the infotype display window and return to the
overview by clicking the back arrow (or press F3).
