Gandharva Ved is a system of Indian classical music that has

The Gandharva Ved Institute offers a one-year
Advance Diploma in Gandharva Ved - Indian Classical Music. The course is
designed to provide advanced training in Indian classical music to students who
have completed the Sangeet Misheard or Sangeet Praveen examinations of the
Praying Sangeet Semite or an equivalent examination of any other recognized
university or institution. The course comprises two semesters each of six
months duration. The first semester includes theory and practical classes in
Raga Tale and Laya and the second semester includes theory and practical
classes in composition and improvisation.
