Project: A project in SoapUI is a container for all the elements that are required for your tests. Test Suite: A test suite is a collection of test cases that are related to each other. Test Case: A test case is a single action or a set of actions that are performed to verify a particular functionality.
In SoapUI you can create projects manually or automatically generate them from an existing WSDL file. For this tutorial, we will create a project manually.
1) Go to File > New soapUI Project. The New soapUI Project dialog box appears.
2) In the Name field enter the name of the project.
3) In the Path field browse to the location where you want to save the project file.

First, open SoapUI and click "New Project" in the top-left corner. In the "New Project" dialog give your project a name and description. Then click "OK".
Next in the newly created project right-click on "Project Name" and select "Add New TestSuite". Again give your test suite a name and description. Click "OK".
Now that you have a test suite it's time to add a test case. Right-click on the test suite name and select "Add New TestCase". As before giving your test case a name and description. Click "OK".
