In this course the actors will learn to suture, mend or alter garments, made- ups, and home furnishing at their own premise. They will be given guidance on the procedures of running a business, correct posture and lifting and handling procedure.
The course content will cover
Drafting patterns and cutting fabric- the actors learn to take measures and draft patterns according to the measures taken/ handed, place the patterns on the fabric, and cut the cloth. They will learn to measure fabric and place it on a table according to the grain line and the drafted paper pattern. They will come familiar with the colorful kinds of fabric and how they're to be handled while cutting and sewing.
Setting machine controls and sewing- actors will be given a thorough understanding of each part of the sewing machine. They will learn to set the controls similar as thread pressure, bobbins, sew length, needle position, etc. They will learn to control and run the machine as well as join the factors and other sewing ways, which include sewing by hand.
Quality check and differences- actors will be instructed on how to conduct a quality check of the sutured product/ garment to identify necessary differences; they will be instructed on using the tools and ways of making differences.
Health, safety, and security in the factory- actors will learn the principles of tidiness, cleanliness, particular hygiene, and clinging to health and safety norms. They will come apprehensive of implicit pitfalls and pitfalls associated with a shop as well as outfit. They will also learn introductory first aid, firefighting, and exigency response.
conservation of ministry, outfit, and tools- is an essential exertion where the actors will learn about the keep and conservation of all the tools and outfit demanded at work. They will learn how to clean and oil painting the machine and moving corridor, keep needles and accessories in an applicable and easy to pierce place, and keep scissors clean to avoid rust and any other damage.
