About IPU

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), pinpoint known as IP University or IPU is a state university, situated in Delhi. GGSIPU is one of the largest universities in Delhi surround with the area  campus area of 78 acres and an registration of more than 8000 students. IPU is recognized by the UGC and authorized with an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. It has been ranked 74th among the all universities in India by NIRF 2023. IPU has more than 120 affiliated colleges out of which 83 are self-financed and 35 are owned and managed by the Government of NCT of Delhi.

IPU provides over 50 UderGraduate, PostGraduate, and Research management programs in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, design,  Management, Law, and Medicine among  many more others. The university is finest and popular for its relevant courses like  BTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, and LLB programs. Admissions at IPU for most of the courses are conducted through IPU CET (Common Entrance Test) followed by a counselling process. Throughout the placement drive of current year 2024, the university witnessed an increase of 41% in the highest and average package as compared to the previous year.
