M Phil Degree In Genetics And Plant Breeding: For admission into the M Phil Program candidate shall qualify HSC examination conducted by CBSE Board or its equivalent board with Physics/Chemistry/Botany as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics up to 5th class if it has been taken up before applying for M Phil program; 50% marks out of 100 are required if they have been taken after applying Movement Certificate (No complaint endorsement from the University last joined in).
The movement certificate is a document issued by the last university attended by the candidate. In case of re-enrollment to another university, it has to be issued within one year from the date of first enrollment in that institution. This certificate indicates that you have passed all subjects and achieved the minimum requirements for graduation with an aggregate mark of at least 50%.
The course is organized into three modules, each of which is a standalone course in itself. The first module is on Molecular Genetics and the second is on Quantitative Genetics.
