NTT Course Approved By Ncte-Shikshaglobe

Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) is a one-year course that trains students to become teachers for pre-primary classes. The course is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is a full-time course and the minimum eligibility criterion for admission to this course is an Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate. Admission to most of the institutes offering NTT courses is based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination. Some institutes also conduct their own entrance tests for admission to this course. The syllabus for the NTT course covers various aspects of child development and pedagogy.


Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) is a course that helps an individual to be eligible for the position of nursery teacher. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is responsible for the standardization of this course in India. The minimum eligibility criterion for pursuing this course is successful completion of 10+2 or its equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Science and Mathematics.


The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has approved the first batch of students for the new nursery teacher training course. The two-year course which was launched in September 2016 is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful nursery teachers. The course covers a wide range of topics including child development early childhood education and classroom management. Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the Nursery Teacher Certification Exam (NTCE).
