Ignou NTT Course Admission Date 2023-24 Fees- Shikshaglobe

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) established by an Act of Parliament in 1985 has continuously striven to build an inclusive knowledge society through inclusive education. It has tried to increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) by offering high-quality teaching through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. The University offers about 226 Certificate Diploma Degree and Doctoral programs with approximately 4 million students in India and other countries through 21 Schools of Studies and a network of 67 Regional Centres 26 Schools of Studies and 2 Sub-Regional Centres.

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has prescribed minimum eligibility criteria for candidates aspiring to be teachers at the elementary level. As per the latest guidelines candidates must have completed a two-year diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or a Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or a four-year integrated course in Elementary Education (I.E.L.D.) from a recognized institute in order to be eligible to apply for the Ignou NTT Course Admission Test (CAT).

After registration candidates will be required to log in and fill in the online application form with all the necessary details.

The National Eligibility Test or NET is conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling or NIOS for admission to the 2-year diploma in Elementary Education course. The last date to apply for the NET is usually in the month of May. The examination is held in the month of June and the results are declared by July. The admission process for the Ignou NTT Course usually starts in August and continues till September.
