About NALSAR

National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) is a state university that was set up in 1998 and is situated in Hyderabad. It is recognized by the University Grants Comission and is NAAC Grade A++ 3.5 authorized NALSAR is ranked 3rd  among the top law universities/schools in India by various organizations such as NIRF.

The university provide law courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels in law and management streams. BA LLB (Hons), and LLM are the popular courses especially  in the field of law. Admission is based on merit in CLAT UG and CLAT PG independently. The field of management BBA + MBA and MBA are the popular courses. Candidates are put forward admission based on their merit in NALSAR MANAGEMENT ENTRANCE TEST (NMET). Candidates with valid scores in CAT are excused from NMET PG and must directly appear for personal interviews with good representation and group discussions. The university also oversight admission tests for PhD programs. Students are provided with financial aid based on their family income to pursue their education at NALSAR University of Law. The median package put forward  stood at INR 16 LPA for BA LLB(Hons) and INR 7 LPA for LLM Batch 2023 graduates independently.

NALSAR Admission 2025

NALSAR Admission is basically provide for most relevant students and also based on merit in the entrance examinations. Admission is open or offer to both National and International students. Admission to BALLB (Hons) and LLM programs are based on scores obtained in the national level Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Registrations for admission at NALSAR are done online on the official website @nalsar.ac.in.  For MBA Admission, the university conducts the NALSAR MANAGEMENT ENTRANCE TEST (N-MET PG) followed by a group discussion and personal interview. Candidates seeking admission to PhD must appear for the Admission Test followed by the Submission of a Research Proposal. On selection, candidates must passed for the Interview Round followed by One-Month Research coursework at the university.

Library: it is very good facility which provide the all students there The university library has an extensive collection of books, both printed and electronic journals and also has access to e-databases. 

Hostel: Students are provided with double occupancy rooms with facilities such as Common Dining Hall, Gym, Television and Indoor Games. Single rooms are allocated to senior students.

Moot Court Hall: NALSAR also has a moot court where students can practice mock trials and also has video conferencing facilities. 

Cafeteria: The campus has a small Coffee Kiosk with snacks available, the mess at respective hostels also provides tasty and hygienic food.
