About IVRI

Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) is notorious for its advanced research and post-graduate programs. The research department decide to upgrade the number of seats of different programmes such as undergraduate courses began from the academic year 2015-16 with the intake of 20 seats which is now increased to 24 seats. The total Number of 21 out of 24 seats are filled by IVRI and the remaining 3 by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). The course is open to all Indian Nationals.IVRI represents  24 Master’s degree programs and 19 Doctoral programs in various disciplines. The IVRI also has sub branches in other city campuses in Mukteshwar, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, and Palampur. The UG courses basically run in the city of only at the Izatnagar, Bareilly. The institute also offers companionship to students who are admitted through entrance exams for MVSc/PhD degrees.The fee charged is very nominal and reasonable  for every aspirant  for all the programs. The master’s program is for 2 years and the professional course is of the duration of 5.5 years. The faculty consists of ICAR scientists. IVRI has a placement cell and being the prestigious institute in the field of veterinary sciences the students get good offers easily.
