The most common route is to complete a three-year undergraduate degree in early childhood studies followed by a postgraduate teaching qualification. There are also a number of two-year fast-track courses available for those who already have a relevant degree. In order to be eligible for these courses, you will need to have at least a C grade in GCSE English and Maths.
