National Institute of Ayurveda is an apex independent Institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India for promoting the growth and development of Ayurveda as a model Institute for evolving high norms of tutoring, Training, Research, and Patient Care and also to bring scientific outlook to the knowledge of Ayurvedic System of Healthcare.An independent Ayurvedic College was established in August 1946 by the Government of Rajasthan and this College was intermingled to form National Institute of Ayurveda known as NIA in Ayurveda fraternity on 7th February 1976. This was one of the veritably many Ayurvedic Colleges in the country to introducePost-Graduate Education in Ayurveda as early as in 1970 After its establishment in 1976, the Institute has grown extensively in the field of tutoring, Training, Research, Patient Careetc., as a result of which it has now 14 Specialties forPost-Graduate Education as well as Regular Fellowship Program leading toPh.D. piecemeal from this there's also Under Graduate course( BAMS), Diploma Course in AYUSH Nursing & drugstore and colorful other instrument courses.
Eligiblity
The seeker should have pass in H S C or bachelorette degree or master degree Course Details Certificate in Ayurvedic Herb Cultivation- The College offers Certificate in Ayurvedic Herb Cultivation course. It's a six months to one time full time instrument programme.

The institute was established in time 2001 under the chairmanship ofDr. Ashawani Kamboj for the development of Indian system of Medicine. presently this institute is being successfully managed by Director,Dr. Sumit Kamboj. Presently the institute is furnishing MD( Ayurveda), Bachelorette of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery( BAMS), Bachelorette of Naturopathy & Yogic Science( BYNS), Mama Yoga, PG in Yogic Science and colorful short term courses. The institute is also running 100 beded sanitarium with ultramodern medical installations, having Yoga centre, Physiotherapy & Panchkarma units.The Institute is honored by NCISM, permitted by Govt. of India – Ministry of health & Family weal Department of AYUSH, New Dehli, combined to Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Dehradun & Uttarkhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar and approved by Uttarakhand Government. Panchkarma Chikitsa-
Panchakarma treatment is grounded on five purifactory stylesviz. Vamana( Medicated emesis), Virechana( Medicated purgation), Asthapan Vasti( Medical enema), Anuvasan Vasti( Medicated enema grounded on oil painting), and Nasya( Nasal Administration by medicine). Panchkarma is effective in treatment of habitual conditionsviz. Kshar Sutra Chikitsa-
Kshar Sutra is a technical effective effortless & bloodless procedure of Ayurveda for Ano- Rectal problems. In this system of Ayurvedic treatment, conditions are treated by non invasive styles i.e. a thread is prepared by soaking in the alkaline results of special natural sauces. Thread is used to strangulate the Hemorrhoids to cut and heal for endless cure. This Kshar Sutra is also used in a technical system to cure Fistula permanently, without surgery. It's also used to treat deep injuries incontinently due to its restorative and mending nature.
