The PGDLAN programme was launched during the academic time 2009 – 2010. The programme is of 20 credits and comprises Two Semesters. The classes are conducted in the gloamings only between5.30p.m. and7.30p.m. Major objects To imbibe knowledge and chops associated with ICT operations in Libraries and Information Centres; To understand the introductory conditions of library robotization and services handed by the libraries in an robotic terrain; To virtually learn and well clued with the colorful conditioning of library house- keeping operations with the help of ‘ KOHA ’ – open source software for library robotization.
